COMPUTER DADDY

Mijn vader van 87 jaar is nog steeds te vinden achter zijn computer. Momenteel is hij bezig met zijn eigen Blog. Je kunt hier veel van zijn vroegere auto's op vinden. Ik blijf het met veel aandacht volgen.

De kerst lijkt nog ver weg, maar ik heb vandaag potlood en papier gepakt en me bezig gehouden met de komende kerst. De eerste ideeen staan al op papier.

SILKPAINTINGS

Sinds ongeveer de 2e eeuw v.Chr. is de zijde via de 10.000 km lange route naar

Europa gekomen. (een reis duurde 6 tot 8 jaar).

Papier werd in China pas rond 100 jaar n.Chr. uitgevonden, voor die tijd werd

er altijd op zijde geschreven en geschilderd.

Chomick and Meder, wauw, what a wonderful site to visit. There are so many items to be seen. Dolls, automata, clipart, graphics and prints all by the hands of Peter and Chris.

Noways digital cameras are so handy. I made the pictures in the neigbourhood of my house. Arriving at home I placed the pictures at my computer and my blog.

OIL PAINTING ILONA

On this oil painting I made, you can see my beautiful daughter Ilona. The painting is now hanging on the wall in her house.

Kampen developed into an important city in the 12th and 13th centuries thanks to trade and shipping.
The IJssel became an important waterway and the arrival of the kogge played a major role here.
Kampen had turned into a mighty tradecentre.

Today I went to Kampen with my youngest daughter. We had a pleasant shopping day.

I started making a drawing of the doll.

After making the drawing, I made a doll of mixed media.

This doll is made of air-hardening clay.
